Emotion Paradigm Speculation

Looking back at human life and the body in the context of technological progress, the theory of the device paradigm states that when a human function is extended by means of an external object, the organ responsible for that function will deteriorate and the behaviour will become homogenized and solidified. "Emotion has always been regarded as one of the functions that cannot be replaced by machines. But in fact, emoji, meme and other tools are being used in our society as a device to help us communicate and receive emotions. The project envisions a wearable device that reads brain waves to help humans express their emotions, and a future where humans become so reliant on such convenient devices that they lose the ability to express and receive emotions. When the connection and transmission of emotions is replaced by machines, the human being will be reduced to a holding object in the machine's frame.
